OUTSTANDING ACCOUNTANT REQUIRED TO JOIN EXCEPTIONAL ACCOUNTING COMPANY.

THE ROLE.

This isn't about audits, but it's about everything else accountancy-related. Management accounts, bookkeeping, company tax, VAT returns, personal tax, tax returns, payroll, year-end accounting - you name it. All with the Moolah Matters touch,

ABOUT YOU.

We're looking for someone proactive, with strong communication and analytical skills.

An all-rounder who loves being part of a team but is also self-motivated and ready to think outside the box to provide exceptional accounting solutions.

Someone who is 100% professional but fun and gets a kick out of working hard and being appreciated.

NON-NEGOTIABLES.

AAT qualification Burning desire to progress and to qualify as certified/chartered accountant Three to five years' recent experience in an accountancy practice, i.e. with a wide variety of work across different companies and/or industries True flexibility in work requirements and challenges Excellent numerical and analytical skills IT proficiency and an aptitude for learning new skills and systems Home base within easy commuting distance of Stevenage Old Town Ability to understand client needs and build deep and meaningful relationships Familiarity with and skills in Sage 50, Xero, QuickBooks, SAPA, IRIS, Sage Payroll

Office-based work, Monday-Friday, 0800-16.00 or 09.00-17.00 Some WFH days will be considered on a case-by-case basis Financed training to (at least) certified/chartered accountant level Free parking close to lovely offices in Stevenage Old Town Regular paid-for social events Company pension 28 days' holiday inclusive of bank holidays
