Accountant/Client Accountant




We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join the Captive Solutions team at Marsh. This role will be based in the Isle of Mann with a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.


Within this role you will be the key contact for a portfolio of clients and responsible for reviewing financial reports prepared by back-office accounts team, ensuring all financial aspects of the client are efficiently managed, including confirming and monitoring deadlines, ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements and deadlines as well as preparing and reviewing solvency capital requirement calculations


You will need to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients, prospects, client teams, and colleagues, oversee and co-ordinate. the external audit process and work with Senior Management to negotiate the fee and maintain the Marsh management agreement

We will rely on you to:



Manage overall client relationship which involves communicating with clients to resolve issues, offer advice and suggestions and discuss any concerns Liaise with insurance, accounts and compliance teams to co-ordinate tasks. Perform and execute reviews of financial statements and other financial reporting Prepare and/or quality check client meeting materials/packs Participate in Board meetings Preparate and/or review client company minutes Complete action items/matters arising Maintain client company risk assessments, policies and procedures Oversee AML/CFT requirements including ongoing monitoring and new client onboarding process Schedule and co-ordinate internal and external audits and implementing agreed actions Agree and update changes to client bank mandates Agree client investment guidelines Monitor investment portfolio and ensuring compliance with investment guidelines Monitor and oversee payments and receipts Partner with business development team obtaining new and expanding business opportunities

What you need to have:



3/5 years of experience within a similar financial role Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) Knowledge of the Isle of Mann Regulatory Authority Experience of working in teams and successful record of delivering results
