The Role

• As Accounting Technician, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting and tax services to a diverse range of clients. Your responsibilities will include
• Preparation and review of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Preparation and review of self-assessment tax returns (sole traders, partnerships, rental portfolios and individuals
• Preparation of corporation tax returns
• Preparation, review and submission of VAT returns
• Preparation of monthly management accounts, consolidated accounts and month-end journals
• Completion of VAT and Intrastat reports
• Working to tight deadlines while maintaining exceptional accuracy and standards

Essential Criteria

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA qualified)
• Pleae note - Experience working within a professional practice in Northern Ireland or UK - if do not have experience working in a practice in NI or UK you will not be considered.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge across accounts preparation and tax
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines
• Highly motivated with a strong commitment to delivering work to a high standard
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel
