The Role:



Due to the continued expansion of our client base, we are seeking an experienced Accounts Administration Assistant to join our ever-expanding team based in Billingham. The successful candidate will need to be a hard-working individual with excellent telephone manner and superb attention to detail. The

The role will focus on supporting the administration function within the practice, whilst being the first point of contact for its clients. The successful candidate will support the senior team in ensuring SLA's are adhered to and a high standard of customer servicing is provided to all clients.

This role is varied and provides a great opportunity to learn additional skills. For the right candidate, there will also be opportunities to develop your skills and transition into other areas within the practice once you have gained experience, should that be of interest at a later stage.

The One Consultancy Group of companies has expanded significantly over the past 5 years and now has offices in Central London, Sussex, Lincolnshire and Country Durham. The group specialises in providing holistic services to high-net-worth clients encompassing Accountancy and Tax, Business Succession and Financial Planning.

Responsibilities will include:



Acting as the first point of contact for clients, managing calls and emails professionally and efficiently. Handling and redirecting enquiries to relevant team members, ensuring timely responses. Managing and building relationships with a variety of high-net-worth clients, always providing outstanding service. Assisting the senior team in the monitoring of filing deadlines. Requesting and booking in client records, ensuring all required information has been received. Verifying client accounting records and maintaining accurate logs on spreadsheets and databases. Updating and maintaining the accounting database and systems. General administrative and ad hoc office duties.

To be considered for the role you must:



Must have previous experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice. Possess excellent communication and IT skills and should have the ability to build client relationships. You should also prioritise attention to detail and have a "can do" attitude. Have previous experience working within a busy, fast paced office environment. The ability to be adaptable and flexible with the ability to work on your initiative as well as part of a team. Genuine desire to provide a high standard of work and a keen attention to detail. You are engaging and can connect with a wide array of audiences by phone and email Experience in dealing with high-net-worth individuals Organisation is key! You need to be organised to ensure that daily administrative duties and administrative related projects are completed. Planning and multi-tasking skills are essential. You will need to demonstrate a passion for providing excellent Customer Service, going above and beyond expectations and developing professional working relationships with clients and your team. A high level of IT Proficiency in Microsoft office programmes is beneficial. Training in additional systems, such as IRIS will be provided.
