Accounts & Administration Manager Duties and Responsibilities



We are looking for an Accounts and Administration Manager who is responsible for ensuring that our office and warehouse are organised and efficient. This is a full time job in our office in Pentlow. Usual working hours are 9.30am to 2.30pm - Monday to Friday. But flexible working is available and can be discussed.

This role will have a wide range of duties to complete, and the candidate must be willing to take on extra administrative and business tasks as and when required by colleagues and managers.

The role also requires someone who can work autonomously and be highly organised and reliable. This is a senior role and previous experience is essential.

Primary duties and responsibilities include:

Acting as a point of contact for customers, clients or suppliers via email, over the phone or in person Booking meetings for colleagues and arranging meeting schedules Organising filing systems and updating office databases Processing invoices, tracking receipts, inputting expenses and other basic bookkeeping tasks Arranging travel plans and hotel stays for staff members Ordering new office equipment, such as stationery, printer refills or staff uniforms Ordering and sourcing materials for the warehouse Responding to questions and requests for information Sales support Operations support Tracking and reporting timesheets and hours for staff
We are looking for someone who is

Confident to communicate effectively and accurately with a wide range of people, from senior management to clients and suppliers Ability to accurately transcribe messages and record information over the phone or in person Proficiency in computer programs, particularly Microsoft Word and Google Docs Data entry skills and knowledge of databases and spreadsheets, including Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets Ability to use basic accounting software such as Xero to generate invoices and receipts Ability to use scheduling software and workflow programs, including Google Calendar Knowledge of human resources procedures, such as entering payroll information and keeping personal employee information confidential
Ideally we would like someone with a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in an office based role. We would also be looking for references.

PAY RATE WILL BE PRO RATA BASED ON 25 HOUR WEEK

Pay: 24,420.00-32,000.00 per year
