We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Account Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with accounts payable, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have some experience with various accounting software platforms and a strong understanding of financial principles.
Duties
Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment scheduling
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is up-to-date
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements
Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes
Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports
Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and best practices
Experience
Proven experience as an Account Administrator or similar role
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reporting
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
