The Role:



We are seeking an Accounts Administrator to support our finance function, ensuring the smooth processing of financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with the administration of our ERP system. Working within a collaborative and supportive team, you will gain experience across sales and purchase ledger, timesheet administration, and financial reporting activities, contributing directly to the success of the business.

Key Responsibilities Include:



Raising and processing sales invoices, including uploading to client portals. Managing customer receipts and supporting the credit control process. Posting purchase invoices to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and monitoring open purchase orders. Reconciling supplier statements and managing supplier queries. Supporting timely submission and posting of employee timesheets. Assisting with ERP system administration, including new user setup and data maintenance. Monitoring shared finance mailboxes and actioning queries promptly. Supporting preparation of overseas tax returns (e.g. Nigeria and Australia). Providing cover for finance team members during absence periods. Assisting with month-end activities and ad-hoc financial analysis.

What We Are Looking For:



Minimum 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths. Previous experience in a similar finance or administrative role (desirable). Good Excel skills and confidence with numerical data. Strong organisational and communication skills. A proactive, team-oriented attitude with attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with professionalism and discretion. Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team. Understanding of financial processes such as invoicing, reconciliations, or credit control

Desirable, but not essential:



Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar ERP system. An interest in pursuing further finance qualifications (e.g. AAT).
