At South West Engineering & Fabrications Ltd we manufacture parts and assemblies for a variety of industries. Our Company's main activities are laser cutting, folding and metal fabrication across a wide range of customers.
About the role
SWE has an exciting opportunity to join the business as an accounts administrator where the main role will be to run the day to day accounts
Responsibilities
Preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable
Managing Payroll
Producing various financial reports when requested
Completing bank reconciliations
Keeping all financial information up-to-date
Complete basic book keeping and accounting duties
Processing business expenses
Completing year end analysis
Chasing debt
Resolve any errors within financial reports
Any other accounting tasks
Location & commitments
Permanent part time role based at our workshop in Balmaclellan. Monday - Thursday (16 hours a week ) typical hours of work 9.30 - 1.30 (flexible)
Overtime may be required at short notice with occasional weekend work
Candidate requirements
Experience of Sage 50 is essential
Associate degree in Business Administration or Related Field or Equivalent Work Experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Office
Experience in Balance Sheet Account Preparation
Strong Bookkeeping Skills
Understanding of Budgetary Principles.
Payroll Experience
Ability to work under pressure
Salary will be based on experience
