This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic applicant to join our friendly, expanding Accounts team. The role requires someone with experience in an Accounts team or with a strong administration background. This role is responsible for the efficient and timely management and recording of financial transactions for the company. The role is 30-37.5 hours per week and based at our Head Office, in Sutton Courtenay with days required at the Cholsey Practice.
Responsibilities
Manage purchase ledger including but not limited to:
Purchase ledger administration, maintaining updated records of invoices, payments, and receipts for all suppliers and staff expenses.
Reconcile Supplier Statements.
Download bank transactions daily, processing supplier receipts, and reconciling bank statements on Xero.
Credit Card posting and reconciliations.
Manage sales ledger including but not limited to:
Post and reconcile petty cash.
Reconcile daily cashing up from all branches.
Record and reconcile sales ledger receipts on Xero and VetLinkPro and resolve account queries where required.
Credit control - to ensure a timely and efficient collection of outstanding amounts owing to the practice.
Administration support to our Lifetime Care Club team.
Monitor the accounts email inbox and assist with customer and supplier queries when required.
General accounts administration.
Attend team and practice meetings as required.
Undertake any other projects as requested by your Team Leader.
