We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software, including QuickBooks, as well as a solid understanding of accounts payable functions.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
Manage accounts payable, including verifying invoices, coding expenses, and preparing payments.
Assist with month-end closing procedures and reconciliations.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies related to accounts.
Generate financial reports as required and assist in budgeting processes.
Support the implementation of new accounting software or upgrades to existing systems.
Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
Qualifications
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Previous experience in an accounting or administrative role is preferred but not mandatory.
