We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Account Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with proficiency in various accounting software applications. This role involves managing accounts payable, maintaining financial records, and ensuring accurate reporting to support the financial health of the organisation.
Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers and vendors.
Maintain financial records using VT accounting software.
Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents.
Assist with month-end closing procedures and reconciliation of accounts.
Generate financial reports for management review and analysis.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data is maintained.
Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding account status and transactions.
Support the implementation of new accounting systems or software as required.
Experience
Proven experience in an accounting or administrative role, preferably within a finance department.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
