Daro (Trading) Limited are looking for a competent
Accounts and Administrative Assistant
to perform various Accounts and administrative tasks to support operations at head office. You will undertake a variety of duties ranging from basic bookkeeping to processing orders and answering the phone.
Required is an experienced and highly initiative-taking individual who can work independently and as part of the team. You must be dependable and hardworking with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will also be familiar with basic accounts duties, Microsoft office 365 applications and be computer literate.
Flexible 4 days per week working 4-5 hours per day
Office based- no remote working
About the role:
Accounts:
-
Purchase ledger: including posting purchase invoices, checking statements, organising supplier payments, setting up new vendor accounts and emailing suppliers with any queries
-Credit control: including new customer set ups, monitoring aged debtors, liaising with customers regarding returns or overdue accounts, customer remittance workings and ensuring proforma accounts are paid before dispatch of products
-Petty cash distribution and recording
-Monitoring email inboxes and responding to tasks required.
-Assisting with month end and year end tasks
Administrative:
-Answer incoming enquiries via phone, email and weblink.
-Assisting with processing customer orders
-Sort and distribute incoming mail
-Maintain electronic and physical files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible
-Providing general admin support to the team
Requirements
-Previous experience in a similar Accounts/Administrative role
-Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles
-Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
-Excellent communication and attention to detail skills
-Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.40 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
