Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive apprentice who will progress to eventually become AAT/ACCA qualified to join our accountancy practice which is based close to Irlam train station. We wish to appoint someone who is friendly, highly motivated, and reliable. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is wishing to start their career in accountancy, finance and business.

Process purchase & sales invoices Process of bank payments & bank receipts Bank Reconciliations Bookkeeping Preparation of clients VAT returns Preparation of sole trader accounts Liaise with clients to collect required information Use of Sage/Xero/In-house Software (for bookkeeping) Company Secretarial Service Assisting with Payroll (Brightpay) General admin duties
DESIRED SKILLS
Confident with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel Organised Punctual
PERSONAL QUALITIES
Ambitious Motivated Reliable Good communicator
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
School leaver - You will be expected to have achieved 4-5 GCSE grades 5-9 with grade 5+ in English and Maths or equivalent.
Or
College leaver - GSCE grade's as above plus predicted 2 A-Levels grades A-C or BTEC equivalent at grade Merit or above.
