Accounts Manager & Payroll Processing

Sticky Baits one of the UK's leading bait manufacturers is looking for an experienced Accounts Manager with strong Sage software skills to join our expanding finance team.

You'll be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, processing payroll, preparing VAT returns, and supporting year-end submissions. Working closely with the Management Accountant, you'll play an important role in maintaining financial accuracy, improving processes, and ensuring compliance across the business.

We're looking for someone detail-driven, organised, and confident working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience in Sage 200, Payroll, and VAT submission is essential, while a background in manufacturing or production would be a real advantage.

What You'll Be Doing:

Managing daily accounts, reconciliations, and supplier payments. Preparing and submitting VAT returns and supporting year-end accounts. Processing monthly payroll and maintaining accurate employee records. Supporting the Management Accountant with monthly reporting and audits. Identifying ways to streamline and improve financial processes.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in accounts management and payroll. Strong knowledge of Sage 200, Payroll systems and Excel. Experience in VAT returns and year-end submissions. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills. Experience in a manufacturing or production finance environment (desirable).
