This part-time role (22.5 hours/week) supports the team in ensuring smooth and accurate financial operations across the business. You'll take ownership of the purchase ledger, manage supplier payments, prepare sales invoices, and help maintain reliable, up-to-date financial records.
You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy working methodically, have a keen eye for detail, and take pride in maintaining accuracy. You'll be confident using accounting systems (training provided if needed), happy to work independently, and ready to support the team with key financial tasks that help keep everything running efficiently.
We're hiring for a part-time, permanent role with flexible working hours (22.5 hours/week). Hours can be spread over 3, 4 or 5 days as preferred.
Our office is located in the Fora offices on Station Road, Cambridge.
Salary
: 30,000 per year (full-time equivalent). This equates to 18,000 per year for 22.5 hours/week.

Full responsibility for Purchase Ledger, including processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements and creating payment runs
Preparing and sending sales invoices for trade/retail sales and following up on late payments
Daily bank reconciliations
Basic month end journals, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation
Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
Financial analysis and management work - tracking trends etc
Office stationery orders as required
Additional ad hoc duties as required
Skills & Qualifications
AAT qualified, finalist or possess relevant equivalent experience
Experience of working with Accounts software (ideally Netsuite but training will be given)
Strong attention to detail
Brilliant communication skills, both written and verbal
Proactive in your approach and willing to use your initiative to solve problems
Strong excel skills
