Our services span the whole of Wales as well as our residential unit in the Wirral. At present we have over 300 colleagues working with us.
Role Summary
Kaleidoscope's Finance team are seeking an Accounts Assistant (accounts receivable), working in Head Office alongside the vital functions of other central services for the whole of Kaleidoscope. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the sales ledger, communicating with colleagues and external stakeholders to achieve the daily, weekly and monthly tasks that need to be carried out. They will develop and maintain an understanding of the different systems and processes across the organization and be involved in driving forward the growing team.
Key Responsibilities
Raise and send regular and ad hoc sales invoices and credit notes to customers in line with organizational accounting procedures
Monitor and verify payments into the bank account
Post payments to customer accounts
Reconcile sales ledger control accounts
Regularly run, review and report on debtors
Issue statements of account to customers, acting on outstanding invoices
Respond promptly to customer queries regarding billing issues
Monitor, record and track evidence for spending via company credit cards
Maintain accurate and fully traceable records for audit and compliance purposes
Other reasonable tasks as directed by the Finance Manager to ensure the effective running of the finance department.
