Job Description

MP Filtri is a leading international company in the field of hydraulic filtration. We are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant for Accounts Receivable on a part time basis (23.25hours) to join a friendly finance team. The purpose of the role is to provide accurate and timely support to the finance team by managing accounts receivable, processing bank transactions, handling expense claims, and providing cover for accounts payable as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant include:

Process and post accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accurate customer records and timely invoicing. Manage collections and follow up on outstanding payments to maintain healthy cash flow. Resolve customer disputes and raise credit notes. Post bank transactions and reconcile bank accounts regularly. Support the Finance Director with ad hoc financial reporting and administrative tasks. Maintain organised and accurate financial records in line with company procedures.

The Candidate

The suitable candidates for the role of Accounts Assistant will have previous experience or the below:

Partly qualified AAT or similar. Experience with accounts receivable, collections, and bank postings. Attention to detail and accuracy. Good organisational and time-management skills. Strong communication skills. ERP experience.
It is a bonus if you have previous experience within the manufacturing sector or knowledge of Dynamics 365!
