About the role




We have a great opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join us on a part-time, fixed term basis working in the Finance team at Housing Plus Group.


As an Accounts Assistant, you will provide support to the Group Financial Controller and the Purchase and Sales Ledger team with the daily processing of invoices and handling related administrative tasks. The position will also support the finance function by responding to basic audit and information requests, as well as carrying out low-level reconciliations, including supplier statement and balance sheet reconciliations.

What skills and experience we are looking for:



Strong numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy Computer skills: general IT skills and excellent working knowledge of Excel (including pivot tables, lookups). GCSE A-C / 4 and above or Functional Skills Level 2 equivalent in Maths and English (Desirable)
Demonstrable commitment to excellent customer service in all activities and able to identify customer needs and resolve issues. Able to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing. The ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritise Team worker as well as able to work on own initiative
