Gormleys Gallery one of Ireland's foremost art galleries and auction houses, specialising in Irish paintings and sculpture, as well as works by leading international and blue?chip artists.

We are seeking a Part?Time Accounts Assistant to join our Belfast office. Reporting to the company accountant, you will play a key role in the smooth running of our day?to?day financial operations. Working 20 hours per week (with flexibility), you will be responsible for the accurate processing of invoices, expenses and payments, and for maintaining clear, up?to?date financial records. Your contribution will support the efficiency of our finance function and the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain sales and purchase ledgers Assist with bank reconciliations Reconcile customer and supplier accounts Respond to supplier queries Support preparation of VAT returns Record stock levels in the accounting system Assist with credit control activities Work with QuickBooks
Skills & Experience

Previous experience in an administrative or finance support role is preferred but not essential Proficiency in computerised accounting software Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
