We are seeking a meticulous & organised Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Sage Accounts & good Microsoft Excel skills, with a keen eye for detail & accuracy. The job will initially be part-time (over 5 days) with the possibility of full-time in the future. Salary dependent on experience.
Duties
Maintain accurate financial records using Sage Accounts
Process purchase invoices, reconcile supplier statements & resolve any discrepancies
Responsible for weekly banking
Prepare & maintain spreadsheets
Cash & bank reconciliations
Provide general administrative & accounting support to the finance team
Be willing to help out in other departments when & if required
Requirements
GCSE Maths & English (grade C or above)
Microsoft Excel skills
Proven experience working in a finance or accounts role
Excellent working knowledge of Sage Accounts (essential)
Exceptional attention to detail & high level of accuracy
Strong organisational & time management skills

Pay: 15.00-16.50 per hour
