Ellis Jones Solicitors are looking for a self-motivated Accounts Assistant with a positive attitude to join our very busy but friendly Charminster office. This role would suit someone with previous experience in a firm of solicitors and would enjoy working in a challenging, busy and professional environment. This role is a part time position.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Cash book entries
Banking and cheque writing
Checking and sending electronic payments
Allocation of payments in
Ensuring compliance the Solicitors Accounts Rules
Taking credit/debit card payments by telephone
Bank reconciliations
Assisting non accounts staff with ledger queries
Assist the Finance Director in maintaining office accounts, Client accounts and any other accounts
Any other duties as and when required as directed by a Partner or a member of the Management team
