Job Description
Hutcheon Mearns are delighted to be exclusively supporting our client in recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their friendly finance team in Bridge of Don. This is a permanent role, and full time and part time candidates will be considered.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a couple of years of experience in a finance or accounting role who is keen to develop their career and gain exposure across a broad range of accounts duties.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll be involved in:
Processing purchase invoices and managing invoice approvals Vendor statement reconciliations and handling supplier queries Assisting with purchase orders and expense processing Supporting bank reconciliations and cash posting Helping with credit control and sales invoice preparation General finance administration and support across the team
Background and Experience
You'll have around 1-3 years' experience in a finance or accounts role Strong attention to detail and accuracy Confident using Excel and other Microsoft Office tools A proactive, organised approach and a willingness to learn Sage experience would be an advantage but isn't essential
