We have an accounts assistant roll based in Burton on Trent. This role is an office based full-time position working a 37.5 hour week (Negotiable)
Temporary contract to start, building to permanent.
Previous experience preferred but essential.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Supporting the existing accounts staff
Deal with general queries
Bank reconciliations and cash allocations
Some admin responsibilities including scanning invoices and adding them into the purchase ledger
Adding purchase invoices into the purchase ledger
Posting credit card expenditure ensuring that documentation gathered
Balancing of shop till receipts.
Allocation and investigation of gift vouchers on a regular basis.
File delivery notes
Retain credit card receipts awaiting monthly statements.
Process receipts against statement and request information from individual card holders of non-business-related expenditure.
Liaise with customers and suppliers providing statements, copy invoices and other related queries.

Assist with general housekeeping duties.
