to join our finance team at Park Hall Hotel. The ideal candidate will have strong hotel accounts experience and the ability to manage key financial processes with accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain
management reports
, including P&L, balance sheets, and performance summaries
Conduct
cash flow analysis
and support financial forecasting
Audit and verify
departmental costs
(Rooms, F&B, Leisure, Housekeeping, etc.)
Monitor, analyse, and control
wage costs
,
food costs
, and
beverage costs
Process
Payroll
accurately and on time
Manage VAT preparation and submissions in line with UK regulations
Assist with reconciliation of accounts, invoices, and supplier statements
Support month-end closing procedures
Maintain financial records in accordance with company policies and audit standards
Essential Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2 years of Accounts experience within the hotel/hospitality sector (UK experience preferred)
Strong understanding of hotel cost control-labour, food, and beverage
Experience preparing and analysing management reports
Working knowledge of payroll processing (hotel environment desirable)
Experience handling VAT submissions and compliance
Strong analytical, numerical, and organisational skills
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with PMS/POS/Accounts software is an advantage
Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with integrity
