We are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join Trutex, one of the leading brands in school uniform and school sportswear. This is a varied role which includes purchase invoice processing, assisting with the processing of journals and KPI reporting. There is a possibility to complete your AAT through an apprenticeship and this would be considered.
To be the successful candidate you must have strong Excel and IT skills and be "a natural lover of Maths" and data analysis. Experience of working within a Finance team and being used to working in a challenging and changing environment would be advantageous.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily, Weekly & Monthly Reporting
Processing of stock invoices, including variance allocation
Posting sales invoices and sales receipts
Processing of sales journals
Ad-hoc projects and provide general support to the Finance team
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Previous experience of working in a busy Finance department is advantageous but not essential
Strong excel skills (Tested at first interview stage) and IT skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to organise workload and prioritise tasks effectively
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
A level maths or equivalent is essential
