We are currently looking for an experienced administrator to join our team at Embleton, this is a great opportunity to develop in a professional and exciting role.
About the Role
This vacancy is in our multi-skilled accounts team, the position will be a mixture of administrative work, assisting with all duties within the department including sales ledger administration, purchase ledger administration along with some traditional receptionist duties. Successful candidates will be required to work 37.50 hours over 5 days per week, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. (part time will be considered for the right candidate which would be discussed at the interview)
Duties and responsibilities include:
Assist with the administration of the sales ledger
Assist with the administration of the purchase ledger
Assist with communication to customers and employees.
Answering the phone and directing calls.
General administration support, including filing, assisting with other duties within the department.
Meeting and Greeting Visitors to the site.
Experience in working within a busy office is of advantage but full training will be provided. The shift can go from relaxed to hectic at times, as the workload can quickly change therefore a flexible, focused, and hands-on approach is of benefit.

A skilled administrator, with a professional telephone manner and a can-do attitude. You understand the customer's perspective and have a natural ability to build a strong rapport and demonstrate empathy when needed. You will be a confident multi-tasker who can be resilient and show a great team spirit! You will be naturally friendly and want to get stuck in, working with your team to deliver great results. You will have an enthusiastic approach to learning new skills. You will deliver high standards, working accurately and efficiently. We require you to have GCSE levels A-C in Maths and English.
Essential Criteria:
Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Ability to recognise confidentiality and act in a professional manner.
Have a polite, pleasant and helpful telephone manner.
Experience in working with office programs in particular Word and Excel.
Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
