We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our small finance team at our site in Tiptree. This position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in accounts payable while contributing to the efficiency of our accounting processes.
Duties
Accounts Payable processing using semi-automated process, covering all spend in the business - overheads, bill of materials, UK and Foreign
Processing Supplier Payment Runs & CIS payments
Accruals & Prepayment postings
Postings onto Sage Accounting
Investigating invoice differences / queries
Reconciling Supplier Statements
Maintaining vehicle database
Assistance with Quarterly VAT Returns
Posting expense claims

This is a part time role, approx. 30 hours per week but we do have some flexibility.
