We have an excellent opportunity available for an Accounts Assistant to join our team. Reporting to the Accounts Supervisor your primary function will be to oversee the cashier function. In addition, you will be required to assist in other areas of the finance department (credit control and payables), produce reports, patriciate in audits, handling supplier and customer queries, and other duties as required.
To be successful in your application for the position of Accounts Assistant, you would possess the following attributes:
Previous experience in a similar role
Proficient computer skills - particularly Excel
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to build good working relationships
Flexible and able to work on own initiative and get on with issues as and when they arise
Standards driven and have attention to detail
A qualification in accounts would be helpful
