The Role:



As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance operations across a number of group companies. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, whilst upholding the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality. Duties:



Maintaining a computerised accounting system for a number of group companies Processing and maintaining purchase and sales ledgers Performing regular bank reconciliations Preparing and submitting VAT returns Completing intercompany account reconciliations Assisting with payment runs and supplier queries Support with preparing management accounts and year-end accounts Preparing project costings Undertaking general administrative and accounts support tasks as required

Qualifications/Criteria:



Ideally fully qualified as an Accounts Technician or part-qualified ACA, ACCA or similar Experience of working in Property/Asset Management Accounting function desirable but not essential Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Office, with experience using Sage Accounts 50 an advantage Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time and workload to strict deadlines A high level of accuracy and attention to detail A proactive and positive approach to work, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
