Key responsibilities/Accountabilities/Duties
Preparing accounts up to and including trial balance.
Supporting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts and producing monthly balance sheet reconciliations statements covering accruals, prepayments, fixed assets register etc.
Directly Managing:
1. Stock Valuation process into SAP
2. AP invoices (services and stock) processes and the Purchase ledger
3. Weekly payment run processes in multiple currencies
4. Daily treasury activities
5. Sending out Sales Invoices daily
6. Daily bank reconciliations
7. Suppliers and Customers Rebates
8. Filing of Monthly & Quarterly ONS Business Surveys
9. Employee expenses processing and pay outs
10. Credit Control tasks from time to time
Supporting in all annual and other regular audit exercises
Any other roles that may be assigned from time to time
About you
Thorough understanding of accountancy and book-keeping up to trial balance and preparation of management accounts
Proven workplace numeracy skills and accuracy
Computer literate, good data entry speed and capable of utilising MS Excel tools such as VLOOKUP. Knowledge of SAP would be desirable
Confident inter-personal skills to deal with customers and external contacts
Excellent attention to detail and diligence
Ability to efficiently prioritise and organise work
Self-motivated and determined to succeed
Friendly, pro-active and flexible team member
Standard Conditions
Salary 27,315 gross per annum
37.5 hrs per week
Monday to Friday 0830 - 1700 hrs with 1 hr lunch break
