The Home Network Group operates well know regional brands including Pennine Home Improvements, Kitchens Plus Bathrooms and Budget Windows. It is the regional market leader in UPvc home improvements sector and has ambitions to grow both within the region and outside of the North East region

The opportunity

We have a opening in our accounts team! The role will require you to work within a small team covering aspects such as sales ledger reconciliation, bank reconciliation and adhoc variance analysis work. Reporting to the accounts manager, we require a enthusiastic self motivated individual who has experience in a small but versatile team and is caring and methodical in their work

Key Responsibilities

Update daily banking and card transaction reconciliations.

Maintain accurate debtor ledger accounts

Ensure delivery dates per accounting system match that of operational systems

Complete weekly bookkeeping journals

Complete adhoc variance analysis work

Aid with stock valuation calculations

Cover holiday and absence workflow in accounts receivable department.

Other duties as required within accounts department

Person Specifications

3 Years+ Accounts Assistant experience in similar roles Sage experience essential Comfortable learning new IT Systems CIS experience desirable but not essential Self motivated Attention to detail and ability to spot inaccuracies Good communication skills
May consider Part Time or Job Share

Study support would be considered for applicants studying AAT ACCA CIMA

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 27,000.00-29,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
