We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated
Accounts Assistant
to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for numbers and a desire to grow their career in accounting. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with processing invoices, expense forms, and payment runs
Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and spreadsheets
Manage petty cash and employee expense claims
Respond to supplier and internal queries in a timely manner
Assist with VAT returns and other statutory filings as needed
Perform general administrative duties related to the finance department
Requirements:
Good understanding of basic accounting principles
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
