An exciting opportunity has arisen for a friendly, motivated, and qualified Accounts Assistant to join our team at our brand-new showroom in
Hook Norton, Oxfordshire.
As one of the world's leading specialists in high-end performance and collectable classic cars, we pride ourselves on excellence in every aspect of our business -- and the accounts department is no exception. You'll play a key role in supporting our Chief Financial Officer in ensuring the smooth running of our financial operations.
We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and qualifications to fulfil this role. Reliability, flexibility, and integrity are also essential, as you'll be handling financial information and contributing to the precision and professionalism our clients expect.
Your role will include:
Managing purchase and sales ledgers
Reconciling statements
Raising sales invoices and assisting with credit control
Supporting general finance operations using Sage 50cloud Accounts
Maintaining and updating Excel spreadsheets and related reporting
Upholding accuracy and consistency across all financial processes
You'll work closely with the CFO and wider team to ensure that all accounting tasks are completed efficiently and accurately, helping the business continue to deliver world-class service to our clients.
ABOUT YOU
You'll have solid, hands-on experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of Sage 50cloud Accounts, Microsoft Excel, and general bookkeeping processes.
We're looking for someone who is:
Detail-oriented and highly organised
Reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality
Adaptable and willing to learn new systems or procedures
A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
WORKING HOURS
Full-time hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm.
