We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will support various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. Responsibilities
Day to day running of accounts payable process, including processing invoices and reconciling statements
Day to day running of accounts receivable process, including processing sales invoices and credit control
Assist with data entry related to financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
Maintain organised records of all financial transactions
Support ad hoc administrative tasks related to finance operations as required
Experience
Proven experience working with accounting software such as Sage 50 is highly desirable
Familiarity with data entry and accounts payable processes
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
Prior experience in a similar role within finance or accounting is preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
