A supportive and growing Business Team in Ipswich is looking for an Accounts Assistant to help deliver accurate accounts and tax compliance for a varied client base, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. This role offers the opportunity to build technical knowledge, work closely with colleagues and clients, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Role Responsibilities
Prepare accounts and tax returns for a broad range of clients.
Liaise with colleagues and clients to collect information and resolve queries.
Use Microsoft Office and cloud-based accounting software to complete work accurately.
Support the wider team with general projects and client requirements.
Personal Requirements
AAT qualification or working towards completion.
Experience preparing accounts and tax returns.
Confident user of Microsoft Office and cloud accounting tools.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Good communication skills and a focus on delivering quality client service.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
Knowledge of Xero or QuickBooks Online is helpful but not essential.
