Mitchinsons Accountants are a small independent accounting firm in Kendal town centre. We aim to provide a friendly, high quality service by taking the time and effort to understand each client's needs. We provide a wide range of accountancy and tax services to businesses and individuals predominantly in the Lake District area.
Summary
We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our team. This full time permanent office based position is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience with an interesting and quality client base.
The role will involve preparation of clients bookkeeping and quarterly vat returns, using accounting software and Microsoft Excel and preparation of clients accounts to trial balance.
Requirements
Bookkeeping, accounting software and VAT experience is essential as the role will entail recording and maintaining financial records, however training will also be given for the right person.
We require a person with a high attention to detail, and the ability to multi task and communicate both with clients and team members.
Ideally AAT qualified or working towards AAT.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 22,880.00-32,825.90 per year
