Job Opportunity: Accounts Assistant (Temporary with Potential to Go Permanent)
We are looking for a dedicated
Accounts Assistant
to join a growing finance team on a
temporary basis
, with the possibility of moving into a full-time role. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and eager to contribute to smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will support the finance department by managing day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks, including:
Processing a high volume of sales invoices with accuracy and timeliness
Updating and maintaining financial records and databases
Handling internal and external queries related to accounts
Managing general administrative duties such as filing and documentation
Ensuring compliance with internal financial policies
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
A relevant finance certification (e.g., AAT) or equivalent experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Experience using
Sage
(required); familiarity with Uptick is an advantage
Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Clear written and verbal communication skills
The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
