Accounts Assistant

Job Description
We're looking for a positive, collaborative, people-focused Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team. In this critical role, you will be overseeing customer and purchase ledger, prepare payment runs and assist with month end processes. Provide cover for Senior Finance Analyst when needed.
Key Accountabilities:
Allocate cash transactions
Reconcile banks
Ensure seamless integration of multiple supplier/customer systems to our internal ERP and maintain and update those records Process pro-forma and automated payment run Control credit customers Upload factoring invoices Maintain credit cards Re-charge Intercompany sundries Run prepayment and storage adjustments Work closely with other departments to ensure customer/supplier queries are resolved Provide administrative duties, cover and assistance for other team members as and when required
The Candidate
Previous experience working in a similar position within a Manufacturing or Supply Chain Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Previous experience working with SAP preferred Exceptional business partner service and relationship management skills The ability to use your initiative, plan your own workload and work unsupervised Confident IT skills which should include MS Office - Word, Excel Able to communicate effectively, written and verbally A team player with a high level of dedication Excellent organisation skills, with demonstrable experience meeting deadlines

Pay: 28,000.00 per year
