Tidal Transit is a boat operator servicing the offshore windfarms around UK and overseas. With a current fleet of 6 boats and 30+ crew. We are looking for an accounting administrator to join our team. Good communication skills are essential.
Qualifications/Prerequisites:
Five GCSEs at grades A-C (including mathematics and English), or equivalent qualifications from AAT
Title: Accounts Assistant
Reports to - Financial Controller
Using automation software (EzzyBills), input purchase invoices to QuickBooks Online. (QB).
Supplier statement reconciliation
Processing online card payments to QB
Assisting with weekly payment runs
Processing Crew expense claims
Processing self-employed crew invoices for payment
Assist as required with the completion of outstanding or time critical tasks which may come into the office and require administrative support to ensure Client and Tidal Transit requirements are met to the highest possible standards
To perform and undertake other responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by management.
To support and follow the company policies and procedures. Your duties may be modified from time to time to suit the needs of the business.
Hours - This is a new role and is part-time, approximately 25 hours per week can be flexible on work patterns. Salary to be pro rata on agreed hours. 6 month fixed term contract, view to permanent at the end of contract.

Experience:
bookkeeping: 2 years (preferred)
