Crowne Plaza Liverpool City Centre requires an enthusiastic and engaged accounts assistant to support the Hotels Accounts team, assisting the Financial Controller in all aspects of the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely accounting processes. The accounts assistant will be required to undertake a range of accounting duties, including ledger management; processing payments; preparation of financial and numerical data; monthly and weekly wages; cash handling and general office duties whilst working in a timely manner to meet deadlines and targets.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Producing daily revenue figures
2. Checking the daily night audit pack and balance the business done
3. Check, balance and consolidate the cash received for the bank pay in
4. Reconcile the bank against cash and credit card lodgements
5. Demonstrate analytical ability and identify and respond to data analysis
6. Post purchase ledger invoices accurately on a daily basis
7. Check accuracy of customer invoices, transfer to Sales ledger and send out to customers
8. Control sales ledger and chase debtors to ensure payment terms are met
9. Post sales ledger payment received
10. Managing petty cash
11. Processing of weekly and monthly payrolls
12. Monthly Float checks
13.Assist with monthly stock takes
14. Answering customer questions and resolving queries in a timely manner
