About The Role





We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. This junior-level role is ideal for someone currently studying towards AAT or looking to begin their accounting qualification.





You will gain broad exposure to core financial processes and play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial records.




Key responsibilities:




Perform daily bank reconciliations Administer company credit cards: collect receipts, reconcile statements, and post transactions to the ledger Prepare and post accruals and prepayments Maintain the fixed assets register and assist with leasehold amortisation Post daily Visa settlements journals Maintain interest certificates log Support payroll finance processes: review monthly payroll variances and post related journals in SAP Assist with the preparation of VAT returns Assist with other ad-hoc finance and reporting tasks as required



Ideal Candidate




Actively studying or planning to study AAT Basic understanding of accounting principles Experience in book-keeping Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks Good communication skills and confidence in dealing with internal and external stakeholders Eagerness to learn and develop within a finance team
