Sheridan Maine is working with a growing organisation in Southeast London to recruit a Temporary Accounts Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic accounts experience to support the finance team during a busy period and gain exposure to a dynamic business environment.
Key responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant include:
- Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including processing invoices and expense claims.
- Support the accounts team with data entry and reconciliation of accounts.
- Help prepare basic financial reports and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with month-end processes and other ad hoc finance tasks as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely and accurate financial operations.
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office software.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
