ROLE OVERVIEW
The Accounts Assistant will have a key responsibility to support the Finance team processing purchase invoices and other expense-related transactions. The role will also be responsible for bank and sales invoicing reconciliations, ensuring that all documents are processed in line with company policies.
There are lots of opportunities in this role to get involved in different projects and initiatives that are being developed if the individual wants to develop their skill set further.
REPORTING
The role will report to the Finance Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Processing Sales Invoices, make sure the correct cost centre and chargeable area are used
? Managing accounts receivable, ageing reports, liaising with clients for payment due and monitoring outstanding balance
? Credit control, chasing client overdue accounts via emails and phone calls
? Posting client payments and reconciling client deposit accounts
? Post the client card receipts and provide the payment link to the client
? Resolving Client billing queries
? Manage Freelancer invoices via Dext and set up payment to the freelancer
? Managing and organising the accounts mailbox
? Posting and reconciling the company credit card transactions
? Daily client payment received, bank reconciliation
? Assisting with the month-end task, Revenue reconciliation and Prepayments
SKILLS
? Xero accounting, Dext
? Intermediate MS Excel skills.
? Excellent communication skills, written and oral. Excellent presentation skills.
? Forensic attention to detail.
? Proactive analytical attitude.
? Strong team player.
EXPERIENCE
? A minimum of 1 years of accountancy experience.
? Experience of working in a KPI driven environment.
? Experience of working in a volume / yield business.
? Experience of working in a creative, fast growing business.
? Working knowledge of Xero or similar.
