Artek is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to support our finance department. The role involves handling day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in the preparation of reports and accounts. The ideal candidate should have strong numerical skills and a good understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable.
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
Assist with preparing financial statements and reports.
Liaise with suppliers and internal departments regarding billing or payment queries.
Support the finance team with ad hoc administrative and accounting tasks.
Skills Required:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Previous experience in an accounting or finance role preferred.
Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
