THE ROLE:



Affinity Fire Engineering is a specialised fire safety consultancy firm servicing a diverse range of clients and sectors throughout the UK. Our growing team is looking for a new addition to join our admin team. An experienced

Accounts Assistant

is required to take the lead with the credit control process, as well as supporting the wider finance function. This role is based in our London office and there is a 2 day per week attendance expectation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



Credit Control
o Proactively collect payment on outstanding invoices via telephone, email and formal letters

o Sending statements at month end

o Weekly meeting with Deputy Finance Manager and Contract Manager

o Creating and maintaining credit control spreadsheets

o Build and maintain positive relationships with customers

Generate and issue sales invoices Bank reconciliation Provide support to Deputy Finance Manager & Finance Director. Ad-hoc assistance with additional finance tasks.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:



Your key strengths will be communication and organisation. Both are essential to the success of this role. You must be able to toe the line between assertive and professional and be confident making and receiving calls.

You will have at least 1 year experience in a relevant role. You must possess a grade A- B in GCSE English and Maths as both skills are important to ensuring the accuracy in the role.
Will be comfortable working autonomously with little supervision. You will have at least 1 year experience in a relevant role. Experience in the construction industry is preferred

but not essential.
