As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for managing all accounts receivable activities. You will be meticulous and proactive, ensuring the accurate and efficient operation of the accounts receivable function. With strong attention to detail and a commitment to financial accuracy, you will oversee income recognition, maintain effective credit control, and support the timely collection of outstanding balances.


Your role will be varied, working across multiple stakeholders and departments such as Operations, Events, Systems & IT and Marketing. You will enjoy collaboration; problem solving and have a hospitality background.

We Expect You To:




Manage our supplier invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of invoices.


Process payments, follow up on overdue accounts & resolving any payment issues.


Review and reconcile supplier accounts, resolving any discrepancies or outstanding issues in a timely manner.


Manage our customer invoicing process, ensuring invoices for private events are raising in a timely manner, and all open amounts are chased to maximise cashflow.


Reconciliation daily sales, with particular attention to reconciliation of private events.


Reconcile income received from payment platforms daily, including but not limited to: Dojo, AMEX, Design My Night, Storekit, Tonic.


Manage financial relationships with external food traders ensuring accurate accounting of income and remittance.


Generate financial reports, providing insights to support decision-making.


Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address supplier enquiries and resolve issues.


Analyse AR processes and identify opportunities for improvement, implementing changes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and controls.


Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Who You'll Be:




Driven & motivated with a career in finance as a goal.


Have some experience in both accounts payable & receivables.


Loves to be orgainised, working in a proactive way and can demonstrate a planned and prepared approach to work.


Be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail and work and work effectively as part of a collaborative team.


You have administrative skills, with the emphasis on accuracy rather than speed. You should have effective communication skills to be able to liaise with other departments / stakeholders with clarity, enthusiasm & proactiveness.


Have a passion for the hospitality industry.


Have the want and will to improve processes.


Curious, insightful & detailed.


An independent worker, with a diligent and solution-based approach.


Reliable, someone who shows up who the team and is happy to jump in and support utilising all opportunities to learn.


Studying for your ACCA desirable.
