Main Duties:



Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. Support the accounting team in daily financial tasks Performing data entry and ensuring the accuracy of financial information. Preparing, checking and posting journals. Preparing self-evident balance sheet reconciliations Resolving reconciling items in a timely manner Prepare supporting evidence for and respond to audit queries Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations. Learn and apply accounting principles and practices under the guidance of management accountants.

What You Bring:



Key Competencies and Skills:


Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Exposure to a large ERP system, preferably SAP. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Able to build positive working relationships across finance teams and business units Eagerness to learn and develop accounting skills. Adaptable to changing priorities based on business requirements Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines .
Education and Experience:


GCSE strong pass in Mathematics & English (or equivalents) * Pursuing or having completed coursework in accounting or finance is a plus.
