Accounts Assistant - Maternity Cover (with potential to become permanent)
We're looking for an organised and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our team on a maternity cover contract, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent for the right person.
In this role, you'll support the day?to?day running of our Accounts Department, carrying out a range of general accounting duties, including:
Processing purchase invoices
Preparing and producing proforma invoices, sales invoices and credit notes
Liaising with other departments to resolve queries or disputes
Reconciling credit card statements
Ad?hoc tasks and cover duties as required.
What we're looking for
Proficiency in Xero accounting software
Previous accounting or finance experience in a similar role, Payroll experience would be an advantage
Excellent IT skills, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both within a team and independently
High attention to detail with the ability to process information consistently and efficiently
