We are looking for someone to work in our friendly accounts department in fast growing company in the timber and retail sector in Martock, Somerset reporting to the finance manager . We have an onsite sawmill, woodworking centre, hobby shop, gallery and cafe and more.
The successful candidate will support the Finance Manager with processing business transactions for the company. Duties will include entering Supplier invoices onto the Accounting system Xero and the stock control system Khaos Control. Preparing Supplier payments and reconciling the invoices to the Supplier statements. Processing sales orders. Answer Customer and Supplier queries by email and telephone. Send Customers copy invoices and statements. Assist with Credit control by issuing letters and phoning Customers. Liaise with other departments to resolve queries. Admin support to include scanning and filing invoices.
Skills required: Competent IT Skills, including email and spreadsheets, Good written and verbal skills, Good attention to detail and confident with figures.
Various adhoc duties as and when requested by management.
A love of dogs is essential!
This is a full time role, Mon - Friday 9-5.00 with an hour for lunch.
