Wellington College is a place of innovation, warmth and ambition. At the heart of our campus in Berkshire, the Wellington Health and Fitness Club offers a vibrant, multi-use leisure facility serving pupils, staff, members and hirers. We are now seeking a capable and detail-focused Accounts Assistant to join our team on a maternity cover basis.
This is a key role within Wellington College Enterprises Limited (WCEL), supporting the financial operations of the Club and its associated commercial ventures. The successful candidate will be expected to step into the role with confidence and efficiency, managing a wide range of accounting and administrative tasks--from daily banking and ledger reconciliation to supporting month-end procedures and membership audits.
We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of accounting principles and experience in financial systems and processes. Familiarity with leisure booking platforms such as MRM, cloud-based accounting software, and working within a multi-entity or educational finance setting would be highly advantageous.
